HELP CITY COLLEGE GROW

TOM TEMPRANO is proud to have worked with students, teachers, and staff to
secure important victories for City College:

• Ensured that our accreditation was reaffirmed for the next 7 years

• Secured full funding for the Free City program for the next 10 years

​

• Negotiated contracts to raise faculty and staff salaries

​

• Helped passed an $845 million bond to rebuild our dilapidated classrooms

 

• Worked with faculty to create the Cannabis Studies Program

​

• Helped create the Workforce Education and Recovery Fund to stabilize funding to retain classes

​

• Fought for new resources and policies to support undocumented and LGBTQ students
